Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 1 January 2026

These terms govern QR Code Generator by BLUE — the dynamic QR codes, link pages, analytics and API provided by Blue Agency. By subscribing to or using the product, you agree to them.

1. The service

The product issues dynamic QR codes that resolve through our servers, so the destination can be changed without reprinting the code. It also publishes link pages, records scan analytics, exports print-ready files and offers an API for creating and repointing codes.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for your account, your credentials and your API keys, and for everything done with them. Tell us immediately if you believe an account or key has been compromised. Accounts are for the business that opened them and may not be resold or shared as a service to third parties without our agreement.

3. Plans, trial and billing

  • Plans are billed annually in advance. The plan you choose sets how many dynamic codes and link pages the account may hold.
  • New accounts get thirty days of full-featured access. When the trial ends the account continues on the free tier unless a plan is purchased.
  • Prices are shown in US dollars or Egyptian pounds and exclude any applicable taxes. We may change prices for future terms with notice before renewal.
  • Exceeding a plan limit requires an upgrade; we will not silently delete codes to enforce a limit.

4. Renewal, cancellation and non-refundable fees

You may cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal and the account keeps its paid features until the end of the term already paid for.

Annual fees are for a term of service that starts when you buy it. Fees already paid for a term in progress are not refunded, in whole or in part, and there is no returns process — this is software delivered as a service, not a product that is shipped back. Where we cancel your account for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we refund the unused portion of the term.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use a code, a link page or the API to:

  • Point at phishing pages, malware, or anything designed to deceive the person scanning.
  • Distribute illegal content, or content that is obscene, hateful, defamatory or infringing.
  • Impersonate another business, or use a brand you have no right to use.
  • Send unsolicited bulk messages, or drive traffic to schemes of that kind.
  • Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service.

6. Enforcement

We may disable a code, unpublish a page or suspend an account that breaches section 5, or that we are legally required to act on. Where the circumstances allow it we will contact you first; where the risk to the public is immediate, we will act first and tell you afterwards. Disabling a code stops the scan resolving — which is why the acceptable-use rules matter more here than on an ordinary website.

7. Your content and destinations

The codes, pages and destinations you create are yours, and you are responsible for them — including the accuracy of what you publish, the rights in the material you upload and the lawfulness of where a code points. You grant us the licence needed to host, display and serve that content while your account is active.

8. Availability and printed codes

We aim to keep the redirect service continuously available and treat it as the most critical part of the product, because printed material cannot be recalled. Even so, the service is provided on a best-effort basis and we do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee unless one is agreed in writing.

If a code is deleted, or the account holding it is closed, scans of anything already printed will stop working. Keep that in mind before deleting a code that is out in the world.

9. Analytics figures

Scan analytics are recorded on a best-effort basis. Caches, offline scanners, privacy tools and network failures mean the counts are a close indication rather than an audited total, and location is approximate to city level.

10. Our intellectual property

The product, its interface, its code and the Blue Agency and QR Code by BLUE names remain ours. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your subscription is active — no more.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as it stands. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost revenue or lost business opportunity, including the cost of reprinting material. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account for unpaid fees or for a serious or repeated breach of these terms. You may close your account at any time. On closure we delete or anonymise account data as described in the Privacy Policy; export anything you want to keep first.

13. Changes to the service and these terms

The product will change as it develops. We will not remove a paid feature during a term you have already paid for without offering a comparable replacement or a pro-rata credit. Updated terms apply from the date shown at the top of this page.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the competent courts of Giza and Cairo have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
